“It is more than three years since Baroness Casey laid bare her findings. This Review is the next step. 

I was appointed by the Mayor and MPS Commissioner to run this review independently and I approach this task without fear or favour. 

I opened the Review’s public engagement or ‘call for evidence’ in March 2026, asking Londoners to share their views on the issues Baroness Casey explored and any others relating to MPS’ standards of behaviour and culture that have arisen since 2023. 

We have now concluded the majority of our public engagement. We have received written submissions from organisations and individuals, my team and I really valued the opportunity to meet Londoners in person at Community Engagement Forums and other events across London, and we are particularly grateful to all those Londoners who completed our online survey.

As we gather and review all of the evidence we have received, to inform my report, I remain committed to calling out areas of concern but also acknowledging good practice and achievements. My focus is on making practical, helpful recommendations to ensure the MPS earns and maintains the trust and confidence of the London communities it serves. I aim to report back to the Mayor and Commissioner in October 2026.”
